We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2021, at the age of 82, Douglas Carlton Phillips of Summerfield, North Carolina passed away. With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Phillips of Newton, New Jersey, who passed away on December 22, 2021 at the age of 81. He enjoyed getting to visit with them when they were at the farm deer hunting and they called often through the years to check on Doug and Linda to make sure they were ok and to see if they needed anything. Douglas is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Anne Phillips, and 3 children: Suzalie Ward (Michael), Stuart Martin Phillips (Jane), and James Steven Phillips (Lisa); 6 grandchildren: Justine Margaret Davis, Gerald Davis (Joy), Alexandra Lee Phillips (Christian), Dr. William James Phillips (Vanessa), Amy Margaret Lyons Phillips, and Jackson William Lyons Phillips; and 2 great-grandchildren: Kye Michael Davis and Layla Davis.
